Sanderlinge

Beschreibung

Meist im Trupp unterwegs und an dem Spülsaum unentwegt nach Nahrung suchend, flitzen die kleinen Sanderlinge hin und her. Sie lassen sich nicht stören, solange man als Fotografin flach auf dem Boden liegt und sie auf sich zukommen lässt. So gelingen auch Aufnahmen aus kurzer Distanz und es macht mir sehr viel Spaß, die Vögel in ihrem Treiben und ihren Interaktionen untereinander zu beobachten.
Dieser Trupp Sanderlinge hat an der Nordsee einen langen Mittagschlaf gehalten und ich habe relativ dicht vor ihnen im Wattboden gelegen und endlos gewartet, bis sie endlich aufgewacht sind. Ich wollte die Vögel in dem Moment fotografieren, in dem sie wieder auffliegen. Geduld wird in der Naturfotografie echt belohnt!

Usually travelling in a group and constantly searching for food along the edge of the water, the little sandpipers flit back and forth. They don’t let themselves be disturbed as long as the photographer lies flat on the ground and lets them approach. This makes it possible to take pictures from a short distance and I really enjoy watching the birds and their interactions with each other.
This group of sanderlings took a long nap on the North Sea and I lay relatively close to them on the mudflats and waited endlessly until they finally woke up. I wanted to photograph them the moment they flew up again. Patience is really rewarded in photography!

La plupart du temps, le becasseaux se déplacent en groupe et cherchent sans cesse de la nourriture sur le rivage. Je réussis ainsi à prendre des photos de près en me couchant sur le sol et en les laissant venir vers moi. J’aime beaucoup observer ces oiseaux dans leur activité et leurs interactions.
Ce groupe-ci a fait une longue sieste à la mer du Nord et je voulais les photographier au moment où ils reprendraient leur envol. J’ai donc attendu longuement, allongée près d’eux dans le fond des vasières, qu’ils se réveillent enfin. La patience est vraiment récompensée en photographie!
